Museum General Information
Event Hours:
Friday-Wednesday 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Thursday Not available. Museum is open to the public until 8 p.m.

Scheduling & Contracts:
The Special Event Department will require you to sign a contract for your event. Please contact the Special Event Department directly to start planning your event at the High (404) 733-4536.

Catering:
Restaurant Associates is the exclusive caterer providing food and beverage service for the High Museum of Art and Woodruff Arts Center campus. For more information on catering services provided by Restaurant Associates, please call 404-733-5361.
A guarantee count is required for all events. If the actual event attendance tracked by the museum is higher than the guarantee, the actual attendance will be used for billing service. Event attendees are counted upon entry by the High Museum security staff at all private functions.

Security and Maintenance:
The Museum will determine the number of security officers and support staff that will be on duty during your event. Special events may require additional security for your event and may charge accordingly.

Music:
The Museum will be pleased to recommend music for your event. Please note that you are responsible for any applicable licenses for live or recorded music to be performed.

Parking:
A 400 car parking garage is available below the Woodruff Arts Center. The rate is $10 per car. Additionally, there are several other garages available in the area.
A valet service may be contracted by client, at their discretion. Valet can be set up on either Peachtree Street or Arts Center Way.

Coat check:
Coat racks are available at no charge. Coat check personnel are available at an additional charge of $250 for every 200 guests.

Docents:
Docents will enhance your guest visit to the High. They are staged in the galleries by key pieces of work to provide an additional learning opportunity for your guest and answer questions on the Museum and our special exhibitions. Two docents are scheduled per hundred guests at an additional charge of $250. Four weeks notice is required to schedule docents for your event.

Set-Up, Decorations, and Deliveries:
The Special Events office must approve all plans in these areas in advance. We ask that you request a walk-through with us as you begin to plan the decor of your event. We will try to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

Invitations/Announcements:
Prior to printing, the Special Events office must approve invitations and printed material. You are responsible for obtaining copyrights for any artwork used. Please ask us if you need assistance in this area.

Smoking:
The Museum is a smoke-free facility. Guests that choose to smoke will be directed outdoors.

Technician/AV Fees:
There is a $250 charge for use of any in-house A/V equipment located in the Hill Auditorium and/or the atrium. This charge includes 4 hours of tech service. A $50 charge will be assessed for each additional hour of tech service. When an in-house technician is not available for your event, an approved AV company may be hired to support an event within High Museum of Art facilities.

Museum Equipment:
Please consult with Special Events regarding availability: Twenty (20) 60" round tables, fourteen (14) 36" round tables, sixteen (16) high boys, two hundred fifty (250) black and chrome chairs, one (1) black Museum podium, and a portable sound-system.
