The Annual Fund
The High has experienced incredible growth and change in the past couple of years with the unvieling of the new Renzo Piano expansion and Louvre Atlanta. But with new growth, also comes new challenges. The High's Annual Fund is a vital source of funding for the Museum as we embark on a new era in our history. Your support will make a tremendous difference to our efforts to bring art and people together.

Join Us in Bringing the Art of the Musée du Louvre to Atlanta
Louvre Atlanta is a seminal event in the High's history. The partnership includes the exchange of cultural expertise and operational strategies to enhance the High's own capacities and curatorial objectives. It also featuresa number of special educational programs, publications, conferences, film screenings, and lectures. The three-year program is impressive evidence of the High's stature in the international museum community as well as the regard in which our patrons and audiences are held. The High has made a significant financial and institutional commitment to the project, and the funding available through the current Annual Fund campaign is critical to fulfilling this commitment.
Support Us in Delivering Uplifting Art Education
The High Museum of Art is a leading provider of arts education to adults, children, and families. Our newly expanded campus gives us the space to be one of the largest sponsors of museum education programs in the nation. When you give to the Annual Fund, you help fund school tours, Family Days, Toddler Thursdays, and weekend workshops. You make it possible for the Museum to extend its reach beyond traditional boundaries, to the classroom, and online. You assist in strengthening our role as Greater Atlanta's primary source of visual arts learning.
Did You Know?
As a private institution, the High is not subsidized by government funding for its general operating expenses, exhibitions, or educational and outreach programs. Instead, the High relies on the generosity of private donations and individuals like you. It's important to note that the fundraising capital campaign that made possible the "bricks and mortar" of our three new Renzo Piano buildings did not provide funding for educational programs, nor was it meant to. These programs have always been dependant on our Annual Fund, and this year the Annual Fund is called upon to support a greater range of programming than ever before.
Underlying It All Is Our Annual Fund
As you can see, the High is not resting on its architectural laurels, and that is the point of our recent expansion. As proud as we are of our world-class space, we are even prouder of our commitment to fill it with the most interesting, thoughtful, illuminating, and inspiring art possible--from deep in our own collection, from throughout the United States, and from the finest museums and collections around the world.
