COVID Guidelines

Based upon current CDC guidance and the Mayor’s Executive Order, masks are required for all visitors over the age of two.

We ask that our visitors take their individual health and the health of other guests seriously by complying with all updated restrictions.

Additional Operational Details:

The campus has replaced all HVAC units with HVAC ionization systems, which are proven to reduce the COVID-19 virus.

  • HVAC ionization is more effective than other air-cleaning methods, including UV filtration, which can create ozone.
  • HVAC ionization helps kill other types of viruses, such as the flu, and air pollutants.

We also will continue to offer hand-sanitation stations at elevators throughout our parking garage and in the Museum.

The High Museum has approximately 312,000 square feet of space for visitors to spread out and enjoy seven extraordinary collecting areas and special exhibitions.
