Engage with the artistic history of Midtown Atlanta!

Starting at the High, this walking tour will explore the artistic contributions of the people, homes, organizations, and churches surrounding the arts district of Midtown. Through guided exploration, participants will learn about the artisans, authors, musicians, and “hippies” of the late 1960s who all played a role in making Atlanta the arts destination it is today.

This tour will commence on the Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza in front of the Taylor Lobby entrance and will cover approximately one mile of walking distance. Assistive-listening devices will be provided, and lightweight collapsible stools may be requested in advance.

For more information, please email lifelonglearning@high.org or call 404-733-5034.
