Event Description

Join the conversation, only at the High.

Join museum educators in looking closely at artworks in the Museum’s collection: one work, thirty minutes, deep conversations, and discoveries. All curious and eager learners are welcome!

This month’s Conversation Pieces will be presented by the Andrew W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellows! Over the past academic year each Fellow has worked closely with their respective curatorial mentor. Nailah Barnes from Spelman College is paired with Dr. Katherine Jentleson, Merrie and Dan Boone Curator of Folk and Self-Taught Art; Sojourner Hunt from Emory University is working with Stephanie Heydt, Margaret and Terry Stent Curator of American Art; and Nyaradzai Mahachi from University at Montgomery is mentored by Lauren Tate Baeza, Fred and Rita Richman Curator of African Art.
