Event Description

Join the High’s Wieland Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Michael Rooks, as he sits down to speak with contemporary artist Jaye Rhee.

Rhee’s work Tear, included in the High’s recent reinstallation, draws guests in and holds their attention while generating dialogue. Rhee revels in the space between ironic and poignant with works that simultaneously incorporate video, photography, and performance.

Two headshots of artist Jaye Rhee and curator Michael Rooks.

Support for Conversations with Contemporary Artists is provided by the Jane F. and Clayton F. Jackson Conversations with Contemporary Artists Endowment.
