Event Description

The Ladd Brothers.
Celebrate the opening weekend of speechless: different by design with a special conversation between exhibition curator Sarah Schleuning and artists William and Steven Ladd.

Schleuning, the Margot B. Perot Senior Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the Dallas Museum of Art, will lead a conversation with the Ladd Brothers about their Scrollathon® project.

The artists collaborated with schools, community partners, and High Museum staff to create over a thousand scrolls, which they have incorporated into an installation for the speechless exhibition.

Support for Conversations with Contemporary Artists is provided by the Jane F. and Clayton F. Jackson Conversations with Contemporary Artists Endowment.
