A Modern Vision: European Masterworks from The Phillips Collection
Fine Art
Join us for the final homeschool day of the year! View European Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and Expressionist works of art from the early nineteenth through mid-twentieth century. Notice the different aesthetics each movement offers as you observe through a fine-art lens to analyze art. Separate art-making workshops available, scavenger hunts, and docent tours will be offered.

  • Interactive docent tours from 10:30–11:20 a.m., two separate tours will be offered for older/younger learners
  • Interactive docent tour from 11:30–12:20 p.m., two separate tours will be offered for older/younger learners

Docent tours will meet in the Taylor Lobby outside the Museum Shop.

Visit the Greene Family Education Center to join our art-making workshop any time between 12 noon and 2:30 p.m. Take part in this special opportunity to create your own art! Complete a scavenger hunt and turn it in at the Homeschool Day table before 2:30 p.m. to collect your prize.
