Focus: Visual Arts
Homeschool students will explore the world of printmaking through the work of Nigerian artist Bruce Onobrakpeya. This solo exhibition focuses primarily on a period in Onobrakpeya’s expansive sixty-year career in which his work merged Nigerian tradition and folklore with Christian motifs and Biblical stories. This session includes a docent-led tour and a taught workshop.
Costs are $17 per child and the price of general admission per chaperone; this program is free for High Museum members. Caregivers must remain at the Museum during the entirety of the program.
