No art experience is necessary, and all curious learners are welcome!
Conversation Pieces meets in person on the first Tuesday of each month and virtually on the third Tuesday of each month. Assistive listening devices and folding stools are provided.
This month’s conversation will be facilitated by Hannah Amuka, Coordinator of Gallery Experiences.
Hannah works in the Interpretation division of the High’s Education department to develop audience-focused materials for visitors that provide multiple pathways of understanding related to the Museum’s collection and special exhibitions. Her work centers experiences that promote creativity, wonder, and learning opportunities that invite visitors to shift previously held views through intentional, respectful, and often playful provocation.

This month: Herbert Singleton, Hallelujah Door, 1993!
Herbert Singleton (American, 1945–2008), Hallelujah Door, 1993, carved wooden door with enamel paint, High Museum of Art, Atlanta, T. Marshall Hahn Collection, 1996.185.
