Join us for a day of family fun as we celebrate the opening of Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature. Members enjoy access to the exhibition, special activities, and treats. On view at the High through January 7, this playful and interactive exhibition invites visitors of all ages to rediscover one of the most renowned authors of children’s fiction in the twentieth century. Explore the places and animals that inspired Beatrix Potter’s beloved stories including The Tale of Peter Rabbit™, The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, and The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin. Through more than one hundred twenty personal objects—including sketches, watercolors, rarely seen letters, coded diaries, commercial merchandise, paintings, and experimental books—the exhibition will also examine Potter’s life as a strong-minded and imaginative businesswoman, natural scientist, farmer, and preservationist, a legacy that extends to the present.

Capacity is limited, and preregistration is required. Please register using the ticket button above or by calling Member Services at 404-733-4575 (Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.).
