Look closely and see more: one artwork, thirty minutes, new discoveries.

No art experience is necessary, and all curious learners are welcome! Conversation Pieces takes place on the first Tuesday of each month. Space is limited, and preregistration is required.

This month: Carolyn Drake, Knit Club, 2017–2020!

When you arrive, please check in with Guest Relations staff at the Admissions and Information desk and then proceed to the check-in cart in the Taylor Lobby. Assistive listening devices and stools will be provided and are highly encouraged.

Can’t make it in person? A virtual conversation will be offered from 2 to 2:30 p.m. on the same day. Visit the November Conversation Pieces (Virtual) page to register.

This month’s conversation will be facilitated by Laurel Humble, Head of Creative Aging and Lifelong Learning. Laurel oversees Education programs for adults fifty-five and over as well as programs and partnerships with senior centers, senior residences, lifelong learning organizations, and other aging-services groups. She holds a BA in art history from the University of Georgia and an MA in urban education from the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
