Don’t miss an evening of live jazz at the High every third Friday.
Enjoy a drink and light bites, head to the galleries to explore the Museum’s works on view, and join a docent-led tour for a detailed look at the collection. With live jazz organized by Terrence ‘T.C.’ Carson, the event will feature two musical areas where musicians will play throughout the evening, layering notes and improvising melodies.
Music
Robinson Atrium:
6–7 p.m., 7:30–8:30 p.m., 9–9:50 p.m.
Orkin Terrace:
6:30 p.m.–7: 30 p.m., 8:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Tours
HIGHlights tours begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Docent tours meet in the Taylor Lobby and are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
No drinks allowed in the galleries.

Terrence ‘T.C.’ Carson
Terrence “TC” Carson (Chicago, Illinois) is a singer, actor, and dancer. TC has performed in iconic plays, musicals, and tour productions including The Wiz, Sesame Street Live, Dreamgirls, Ain’t Misbehavin, and Blackberry Daze. He is best known for portraying Kyle Barker on the FOX sitcom Living Single; voicing Mace Windu on Star Wars: The Clone Wars; and voicing Kratos in the video game series God of War (2005–2013). TC also guest stars on the Oprah Winfrey Network’s mystery drama series Greenleaf; voices Samuel in the PBS Kids animated series Clifford: The Big Red Dog; and guest stars on The CW’s superhero drama series Black Lightning and CMT’s musical soap opera series Nashville. - Doors for Friday Jazz open at 6:00 p.m. The Museum will remain closed between 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Seating is extremely limited, and priority is given to guests with disabilities.
