Event Description

Browse through the High’s collection galleries to spark creativity, then learn the fine art of floral arranging with expert florists. Take note of colors, textures, and compositions used in your favorite artworks—the very same artistic elements applied in floral arrangements.

From Paintings to Petals: Impressionism and Post-Impressionism

In the words of Claude Monet, “I must have flowers, always, and always”—and so should you! Join us to learn the fine art of floral arranging and look closely at the magnificent Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings in our new Doris and Shouky Shaheen Collection. Featuring works by renowned artists Claude Monet, Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigliani, and others, the collection offers plenty of inspiration.

Ticket price includes museum admission, all materials, a complimentary flower vase, and light refreshments.
