Engage the world through your camera! We will discuss the relationship between photography and perception in the works on view in Photography’s New Vision: Experiments in Seeing. Then, we will set off on a guided walk around Midtown while following a series of photography prompts that illuminate new perspectives, ideas, and technical possibilities. Afterward, we’ll return to the museum to share our work and reflect on our experiences. Choose your favorite photograph from the day to print and mat, and walk away with a deeper connection to both your craft and the city.

This workshop is open to all skill levels and any type of camera, including smartphones. Registrants are responsible for bringing their own cameras; all other supplies will be provided. The walking portion will cover one mile over seventy-five to ninety minutes.

In the event of inclement weather, this workshop’s rain date is Tuesday, July 22. Should the workshop be rescheduled for this date, all registrants will be notified by email.
