Press Shop and the High Museum of Art are collaborating for a dynamic two-day printmaking workshop experience.

All materials are included.

12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Day One: January 18

High Museum of Art: 1280 Peachtree St NE Atlanta, GA 30309

On Day One, the printmakers from Press Shop will lead a tour through the museum collection to gather inspiration, followed by a guided drawing session in the museum workshops. Press Shop instructors will explain the basics of printmaking and guide you in creating artwork suited for letterpress. This artwork will be collected at the end of the session and used to create printmaking plates!

Day Two: January 25

A week later, on Day Two, the group will meet at the Press Shop located in historic Summerhill, for a private afternoon experience. Participants will learn letterpress production methods from the expert printmaking staff. You’ll be taught how to work on their vintage presses and use your art from Day One to press your own edition of prints.
