Allison Chance joined the High Museum of Art as Director of Development in 2016. She leads the team responsible for all contributed revenue at the Museum, which includes priority setting, strategic planning, creating and implementing diversified revenue strategies, and ensuring the Museum’s financial sustainability. Prior to the High, Chance held several key development positions at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Phillips Collection, and most recently with the Smithsonian Institution, where she led the $1.5 billion capital campaign efforts in Massachusetts, Atlanta, and New York City.
Chance serves as a presenter and panelist for the Art Museum Development Association and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a graduate of Percepta’s Pathbuilders Leadership Program in Atlanta, and she is a member of the PTA at Morningside Elementary School.
