One adult must be present for every 2 children ages 12 and under. All tickets are timed and must be purchased in advance.
Why is the purchase of tickets being limited for this exhibition?
Infinity Mirrors has consistently sold out across all tour venues (the Hirshhorn Museum, Seattle Art Museum, Broad Art Museum, Art Gallery of Ontario, and The Cleveland Museum of Art). Far from your typical exhibition, Infinity Mirrors provides audiences a deeply immersive experience in kaleidoscopic, mirrored environments. We must manage the flow of traffic through the show to allow as many people as possible to experience these rooms as the artist intended. To assist this effort, we are issuing timed tickets for the exhibition.
Why are you charging a higher ticket price for this exhibition?
Because of contractual obligations, complex installation and maintenance of the artworks, popularity of the artist, and high audience demand, we have hired additional staff for art handling, security, visitor services, and ticketing. The costs associated with presenting this exhibition require that we charge a special admission fee, but we promise it’s worth it!
Why are tickets timed for this exhibition?
Due to extremely high demand, we are issuing timed tickets to help us allow as many people as possible to experience the exhibition while also managing the flow of traffic. The amount of time a person may spend in each immersive environment is 20 to 30 seconds. It is important that we adhere to the time recommendations established by other presenting museums in consultation with the artist to accommodate the maximum number of visitors possible.
When and where can I pick up my tickets?
Please print your tickets at home or be prepared to present your electronic tickets on your mobile device upon entering the Museum on the day of your scheduled visit. Please note: Museum staff reserve the right to ask for ID.
What if I miss my time slot?
Due to the popularity of this exhibition, we are unable to hold time slots beyond 10 minutes. If you arrive later than 10 minutes after the beginning of your time slot, we will be unable to ensure your admission to the exhibition. No refunds will be issued for a missed time slot. Please plan your visit accordingly and consider taking MARTA (the High Museum is located at Arts Center Station) or Lyft to the Museum to avoid having to park.
There are several steps before entering the exhibition. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before your ticketed entry time.
Can I change my ticket time after my purchase is made?
Tickets are not eligible for exchange or refund.
Are children required to have tickets?
Yes, every person, even children and infants, must have a timed ticket to enter the Infinity Mirrors exhibition. This allows us to account for the number of people entering the exhibition and calculate how many people we can accommodate. Please note that a small number of artworks in the exhibition contain nudity, which some people may consider inappropriate for children. One adult must be present for every 2 children ages 12 and under.
What if my child does not have a timed ticket for the exhibition?
No one will be permitted to enter the exhibition without a timed ticket. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Please note: One adult must be present for every 2 children ages 12 and under.
Does my Infinity Mirrors exhibition ticket include admission into the rest of the Museum?
Yes. If you arrive before your time slot, we invite you to look around the High’s newly renovated permanent collection galleries or visit the Museum Shop during regular Museum hours. However, you must be present for your exhibition time slot. If you miss your ticketed time by more than 10 minutes, you will not be guaranteed admission to the Infinity Mirrors exhibition. If your visit is during regular Museum hours, you are also welcome to explore the rest of the Museum following your exhibition visit.
