This month’s theme: Photography’s New Vision: Experiments in Seeing
Using the exhibition Photography’s New Vision: Experiments in Seeing as a jumping-off point, participants will learn to combine imagery to render familiar objects unrecognizable. Overlay elements by combining multiple silhouettes, as László Moholy-Nagy did in his experimental “New Vision” photos, to make something fresh and new.
Drawing from Experience is an ongoing series of drawing sessions that take inspiration from the High’s campus and collection. Each session focuses on a different way of seeing and capturing the world around us while allowing participants to explore their own personal expression and develop their drawing skills.
In these sessions, all materials are provided, but participants may bring their own. Your ticket includes access to the galleries.
