Volunteer

Volunteering at the High Museum of Art is an experience that not only enriches the lives of our patrons, but yours as well. Volunteers engage with patrons through educational programs, by greeting visitors and helping at special events, among other activities. Volunteers receive a monthly email with volunteer updates, invitations to exclusive volunteer-only events, and exposure to the leading art museum in the southeastern United States.

Gain Experience

Summer Internship Program

The High Museum of Art’s internship program is offered for eight weeks each summer to rising college juniors and seniors as well as to graduating seniors. This is a paid internship. Interns also receive many benefits which include free admission to select museum functions, discounts at our café and gift shop, and the ability to observe and receive instruction that enhances their knowledge of the area in which they are assigned. Candidates accepted into the program are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation (including parking, which they will receive at a discounted employee rate) for the duration of the program
