Join the High for conversations that will ignite your curiosity, encourage discussion, and invite thoughtful questioning. Museum members receive free admission to all art conversations. Reservations are required.
Hear from distinguished guests and distinctive voices. Each year we invite artists and scholars to speak alongside works of art in our and collection and special exhibitions.
The first and third Tuesday from 12 to 12:30 p.m.
Look closely and see more: one artwork, thirty minutes, new discoveries. No art experience necessary, and all curious learners are welcome! Conversation Pieces meets in person on the first Tuesday of each month and virtually on the third Tuesday of each month. Assistive-listening devices and folding stools are provided.
Art Context Courses
Expand your appreciation and knowledge of art and art history through these multiweek classes, led by art historians and other Atlanta creatives. Through a combination of classroom lectures, in-gallery discussion, and supplemental readings, dive deep into artists, themes, and movements on view in the High’s collection and special exhibitions while gaining a greater appreciation for the historical and cultural contexts that shaped them.
Interested in talking about art with new friends? Curious about new exhibitions at the High? Explore artworks and themes in our exhibitions through a ninety-minute, small-group conversation. Connect with yourself and others as we share observations, opinions, and questions. Inquiring Minds occurs throughout the year in connection to special exhibitions on view at the Museum. Assistive-listening devices and folding stools are provided.
The High offers daily HIGHlights tours, weekend family tours, toddler tours, and seasonal walking tours.
If you are visiting with a group, you can also schedule a special group tour. Please check out our Group Visits page or contact group sales (404-733-4550) for more information.
