Creative Aging and Lifelong Learning

Musing Together

Musing Together is a monthly art conversation program designed for individuals with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia and their care partners. Each month High Museum of Art staff facilitate lively conversations focusing on three to four artworks on view in the High’s collection or special exhibitions. Over the course of an hour, participants look closely and share their observations, ideas, and opinions, learn about the artwork, and connect with one another in a supportive environment.

Musing Together is offered in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, and the Charlie and Harriet Shaffer Cognitive Empowerment Program at Emory University. For more information or to get involved in this program, please email lifelonglearning@high.org.
