Designer Héctor Esrawe (Mexican, born 1968) exhibits dynamic movement, experimentation of form, and use of natural and environmentally friendly materials in this lively and appropriately titled Centipede III bench. The bench delights with its playful rhythms and repetition of forms inspired by the eponymous insect, while the undulating legs disguise the actual point of contact with the floor. The birch plywood is certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and the bench has non-toxic and biodegradable finishes.
