This elegant, elongated vase by Dante Marioni reflects the influences of ancient Greek and Renaissance classical forms that inform his work while demonstrating his unique creative vision. The vivid orange mosaic pattern and yellow edging display both his mastery of technique and love of color. Marioni has studied the ancient art of glassblowing since he was a teenager, adapting classic forms into his graceful and sophisticated signature style. As a glassblower trained in the centuries-old Murano glass methodology, Marioni’s primary focus is the ancient process of glassmaking itself. His understanding of this demanding and respected tradition combined with his fresh, colorful approach makes his work both striking and timeless.
