Shepherd of Hough: Brian R. Illig of Lyndhurst became Pfc. Brian R. Illig of the Ohio National Guard when his unit was mobilized for duty in the riot-torn Hough area. The Hough Vigil spots him appropriately in front of a storefront church proclaiming “Shepherd of the Street.” Illig is anxious to get back to his job as cost estimator at an engineering firm. “The pay’s a lot better… and it’s not as dangerous”, July 20
