One Photo at a Time

One Photo at a Time is an archival workshop that will engage visitors in documenting, preserving, and archiving one’s personal memories and history through photography. The workshop will focus on communal sharing, memory recollection, and storytelling to further imagine a world where narratives, whole or fragmented, are accessible and looked after with care.

Looking at the painting process found in Henry Matisse’s Woman Seated at the Piano (Femme assise devant son piano) and the loose paint application of Sam Doyle’s John Chisolem St. Helena—First Embalmer, we will explore the expressive potential of this medium.
