Sensory-Friendly Evening

We invite adults of all ages who identify as disabled or neurodivergent to join us along with their friends and family for a Sensory-Friendly Evening. This after-hours program includes drop-in art-making workshops, wellness programs, and guides for exploring art and ideas in the galleries.

Dance Lab: Dance Canvas

Using the Anne Cox Chambers Wing Lobby as an incubator, dancers and choreographers will practice their art, offering viewers behind-the-scenes insights into the dance process. Be inspired to push the boundaries of your creativity as each company will offer a workshop for interested participants to explore physical movement. Workshops are open to all bodies, and no dance training is required.

Learn how to guide pigment rings across the water’s surface before transferring your designs onto absorbent Japanese paper. Explore this meditative practice that celebrates chance, breath, and the beauty of flowing color. Leave with a paper or fabric bearing your printed designs
