Join us for a conversation that brings together artists, technologists, and interdisciplinary thinkers to consider the evolving relationship between data, design, and human perception and to explore what happens when technology becomes a medium for unmediated creative expression.

Photo Walk: Framing Nature in Midtown
Engage the world through your camera! We will discuss the relationship between photography and perception in the works on view in “Photography’s New Vision: Experiments in Seeing”. Then, we will set off on a guided walk around Midtown while following a series of photography prompts that illuminate new perspectives, ideas, and technical possibilities. Afterward, we’ll return to the museum to share our work and reflect on our experiences.

Featuring more than one hundred works, including several that have never previously been exhibited, the High presents the most comprehensive exhibition to date of original paintings and drawings by Faith Ringgold (American, 1930–2024) made for more than a dozen of her children’s books.
