Open Studio: Paper Quilts

Red Workshop, Greene Family Education Center | 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 2–4 p.m.

Experiment, play, and exercise your creativity during Open Studio! This informal drop-in program encourages adults of all ages to explore different materials and techniques with guidance from High Museum of Art teaching artists. Materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

Drawing inspiration from Patterns in Abstraction: Black Quilts from the High’s Collection, we’ll explore the process of weaving paper to create abstract patterns, experimenting with different colors and designs to craft our own quilt-like compositions.
