Art and About Walking Tour: Forward Warrior Murals

Led by local artist Peter Ferrari, this walking tour will explore new murals painted for Forward Warrior, an annual festival founded and curated by Ferrari himself.

While walking through the historic neighborhood of Cabbagetown, participants will receive an introduction to the murals lining Wylie Street and learn about the artists who created them. Ferrari will also share insight into his curatorial process and speak to the festival’s evolution.`

This tour will commence at the intersection of Wylie Street S.E. and Carroll Street S.E. and will cover approximately one mile of walking distance. Though limited, street parking is available throughout Cabbagetown. Assistive listening devices will be provided, and lightweight collapsible stools may be requested in advance.
