Discover the beauty of botanical forms through your own creative lens in this flexible, drop-in workshop experience. Drawing inspiration from Kim Chong Hak’s vivid interpretations of nature and treasures from our permanent collection, explore multiple creative stations at your own pace—experimenting with preserved floral elements, watercolor, and written prompts.
What to Expect:
- Create and take home: 3-4 watercolor and botanical studies, ready to take home the same day
- Self-guided exploration: Come and go as you please throughout the 2.5-hour workshop window
- Multiple creative stations: featuring preserved floral elements, art materials, and written prompts
- No structured instruction: This is your time to explore and create freely!
- Perfect for all skill levels: Bring your curiosity, we will provide the materials.

Meet the Artist
Skye Lin, an interdisciplinary artist and designer, has carved a unique niche in the creative landscape. With a BFA in sculpture and installation art, Lin’s expertise spans photography, artistic direction, scenography, and large-scale installations. Her portfolio includes collaborations with industry titans such as Disney, Art Basel, British Vogue, and ELLE magazine.
