Join us for a docent-led tour of the triumphant homecoming exhibition by Atlanta native Tyler Mitchell (born 1995), Tyler Mitchell: Idyllic Space. Mitchell ascended to global prominence after photographing Beyoncé for the September 2018 issue of Vogue as the first Black artist to shoot the cover in the magazine’s history. His work seamlessly blends fine art and fashion photography and will be presented along with a new photo-sculptural artwork made for the exhibition.
