How do materials, forms, and ideas come together to create meaning?
Join renowned sculptor Martin Puryear in conversation with Michael Rooks, Wieland Family Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, for an exploration of Martin Puryear: Nexus. Together, they will discuss the themes that unite the exhibition, from craftsmanship to material explorations. Spanning works made over several decades, Nexus offers a unique opportunity to consider the artist’s enduring engagement with form and the ways his sculptures invite new ways of seeing the world around us.
