Fast Forward featured one hundred years of radical artistic development, from 1913 to 2013, reflected by works of art drawn from the collection of The Museum of Modern Art, New York. The exhibition highlighted new ideas and artistic approaches that emerged during six key moments in the twentieth century and the dynamic change that resulted.

The exhibition included more than one hundred thirty works of art, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, multiples, photographs, graphic design objects, films, and videos, by such luminaries as Henri Matisse, Salvador Dalí, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Jeff Koons. Fast Forward also included work from the present moment by three contemporary artists—Sara Sze, Aaron Curry, and Katharina Grosse.
