Grades K–5

10:30 a.m.–12 noon or 12 noon–1:30 p.m. | Capacity: 48 students

During this ninety-minute program, students grades K–5 will embark on a forty-five minute guided tour of literacy and bookmaking in the High’s collection. Starting July 1, literacy and bookmaking tours will center on Faith Ringgold’s work from the exhibition Faith Ringgold: Seeing Children. Before or after the tour, all students will engage in a forty-five-minute bookmaking workshop with a teaching artist.

    • June 10–27: Survey of literacy and bookmaking in the High’s collection
    • July 1–30: Focus on Faith Ringgold’s work from the exhibition Faith Ringgold: Seeing Children
