Blood Vengeance The Siebenhardenbeliebung confirmed blood vengeance as a legal right that could be bequeathed and inherited. This included the right to blood money, i.e., compensation the perpetrator of a crime paid to the victim in the case of injury or to the victim’s kindred in the case of homicide.
