Three revelers vie for a drink in this animated scene. On top of a porch denoted by a blue trapezoid, one man begs another to share, while a third smartly hides underneath the porch to avoid them. This is an example of Traylor’s “exciting events”—multifigure scenes that show people partying, fighting, hunting, and the like.
