Art and About Walking Tour: Forward Warrior Murals

Led by local artist Peter Ferrari, this walking tour will explore new murals painted for Forward Warrior, an annual festival founded and curated by Ferrari himself.
While walking through the historic neighborhood of Cabbagetown, participants will receive an introduction to the murals lining Wylie Street and learn about the artists who created them. Ferrari will also share insight into his curatorial process and speak to the festival’s evolution.

Learn principles of design while playing and experimenting with collage materials and techniques. Make collages with torn and cut shapes from paper, fabric, and discarded printed materials, and create collage materials using ink, paint, and texture rubbings.
