Drawing is more than an additive process! In this workshop, explore a variety of drawing techniques while looking to artworks in Ezrom Legae: Beasts for inspiration. Begin by coating your paper with graphite, charcoal, or Conté crayons, and practice adding and subtracting marks, lines, and shapes to create expressive drawings. Reveal forms by experimenting with different materials and erasers, and learn to convey space as you emphasize light and dark areas. At the end of the workshop, share your finished piece with fellow participants, and reflect on what emerged through your journey.
