Dance Lab: Dance Canvas

Using the Anne Cox Chambers Wing Lobby as an incubator, dancers and choreographers will practice their art, offering viewers behind-the-scenes insights into the dance process. Be inspired to push the boundaries of your creativity as each company will offer a workshop for interested participants to explore physical movement. Workshops are open to all bodies, and no dance training is required.

Studio Workshop: Torn Paper Collage

Start with the simplest tools: torn paper, bold shapes, and your own instincts. Then, drawing inspiration from the work of Stanley Whitney and Hasani Sahlehe, build strong compositions that leverage form, contrast, and color.
