Visitors can purchase a VIP ticket to enjoy the exhibition after hours, with fewer crowds, and access to a cash bar from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday night throughout the run of this exhibition. During VIP nights, the rest of the museum will close as normal at 5 p.m. On Fridays when there are High Frequency Friday or Friday Jazz events, the entire museum — including Amy Sherald — is open until 9 p.m. You must have a VIP Ticket in order to view Amy Sherald during High Frequency Friday or Friday Jazz. A VIP ticket will also give access to High Frequency Friday or Friday Jazz, on nights when those programs are concurrent.

Enjoy a drink and light bites, head to the galleries to explore the museum’s works on view, and join a docent-led tour for a detailed look at the collection. The event will feature three musical areas where musicians will play throughout the evening, layering notes and improvising melodies.

Performances
Robin Latimore (Atlanta, GA) is a vocalist best known as a performer of Gospel, R&B, and Jazz. Latimore has shared the stage with Jonathan Butler, Rachelle Ferrell, Maysa, Michael Franks, Phil Perry, and Jeff Lorber, and currently serves as Music Director at a Baptist church in Lithonia, GA. A graduate of Fort Valley State University, she leads her own ensemble, Robin Latimore and the Boys, and is the founder of Robin’s Singing Telegrams of Atlanta. Latimore is currently anticipating the release of her debut CD project.
Born Foster, also known by “Born on the Horn”, is an Atlanta-based multi-instrumentalist and performing artist. He is best known in the local Atlanta music and jazz scenes for his live performances, collaborations with various bands, and his single What You Need.
Vinnie D’Agostino (Atlanta, GA) is a multi-instrumentalist best known as a performer of jazz and related genres, specializing in saxophones, flutes, and clarinets. D’Agostino is a longtime member of Atlanta ensembles Jiva, the Joe Gransden Band, and Wabi Sabi, and recently performed at the 48th Atlanta Jazz Festival with both groups. He also leads the Sample This! Crew, an acid jazz project featuring Grant Green Jr., Khari Cabral, Che Marshall, Tyrone Jackson, Emrah Kotan, and Lavahi.

Know Before You Go:
- Membership guest passes cannot be redeemed for this event.
- Doors for Friday Jazz open at 6 p.m. The museum will remain closed between 5 to 6 p.m.
- Seating is extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with disabilities will be given priority.
- Due to capacity restrictions, in order to visit Amy Sherald: American Sublime at Friday Jazz, visitors must purchase a VIP ticket for the Amy Sherald: American Sublime exhibition. This ticket will also include admission to Friday Jazz. Standard Friday Jazz tickets will not grant visitors access to Amy Sherald: American Sublime.
- All tickets reservations are final. Tickets reservations cannot be rescheduled or exchanged.
- No outside food or beverage is permitted.
- We strongly recommend using rideshare or MARTA because parking in the Woodruff Arts Center garage is limited and may reach capacity before you arrive. Find out about other parking options here.
