Whether you’re coming with toddlers or teenagers, we offer programming for any age group.

How Much Time Do You Have?

1 Hour

We suggest choosing one activity from the list below, or visiting a special exhibition for an hour.

1/2 Day

Choose an art making activity at one of our family days (for example, First Saturday, Toddler Thursday or UPS Second Sunday), grab a smARTbox, and take a self-guided tour. If you have little ones, don’t forget to visit the Greene Family Learning Gallery.

Do it all! You can choose any combination of the activities below. Each one takes about an hour.

Toddler
(4 years old and under)

  • Toddler Thursdays and Saturdays
    Art-making activities and self-guided tours that engage children’s creativity.
  • Greene Family Learning Gallery
    Two distinct spaces for creative play that offer age-appropriate activities for kids ranging from infants to eight-year-olds.
  • smARTbox
    Free for any child age two to twelve, each smARTbox is filled with art supplies and an activity.
  • UPS Second Sunday
    Enjoy art-making activities, performances, and the High’s galleries for free on the Second Sunday of every month.
  • Family tours
    Explore the High as a family on this interactive, docent-led adventure through the galleries.
  • Self-guided Highlights tour
    Visit our galleries at your own pace with recommendations from our staff.

Elementary
