Studio Workshop: Cyanotypes

Cyanotyping – a printing process in which objects are placed onto a photosensitive sheet of paper and exposed to UV light – has engaged many influential artists, including Anna Atkins and Meghann Riepenhoff. Join us to explore patterns and composition as you create cyanotype prints using items you bring from home, or draw from a selection of nature-related items we will provide. Watch your designs come to life in striking shades of blue and white, and leave with your very own print.

Art and About Walking Tour: Forward Warrior Murals

Led by local artist Peter Ferrari, this walking tour will explore new murals painted for Forward Warrior, an annual festival founded and curated by Ferrari himself.
While walking through the historic neighborhood of Cabbagetown, participants will receive an introduction to the murals lining Wylie Street and learn about the artists who created them. Ferrari will also share insight into his curatorial process and speak to the festival’s evolution.
